Sometimes I receive requests from bloggers and websites for review copies of the book. Other times, I chase after people to see if I can interest them in reviewing the book because I think they might be able to offer a unique perspective. I asked Deb from Spawnocalypse to review my book because her children are neurotypical; if these strategies work for kids with neurodevelopmental challenges, I wanted to hear what a mother of relatively easy kids would say about behavior-limited discipline. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since my book was released. It’s been a great year for spreading the word about behavior-limited discipline. In the past year, almost 3,000 people have visited the site. Don’t Swear is now in 31 states and 4 countries! Plans are in the works for initiating an exploratory study to demonstrate the utility of behavior-limited discipline in the classroom. I am optimistic that 2010 will be even better! I am always up for speaking to community groups about this new approach to discipline. Use the information in the sidebar to find out about my availability.
